The opening of the Village Warralily is fast approaching. Let's get to know a bit more about each of the tenants moving in!

Getting to know Warralily Cockatoo What will be your Business name?
Warralily Cockatoo

Please describe the type of business you will operate and outline the goods and/or services you will provide.
Cockatoo will be a neighbourhood cafe and pizza bar.  We'll serve fresh food, from a simple menu, at great prices with good vibes. Our brunch menu is made up of healthy, cafe classics and creative fun dishes. Our team will bring their A-game to baking, making sourdough daily and baking pastries, sweet treats & raw bars.
We LOVE pizza!!! Our inspiration is the birthplace of pizza, Naples. Our pizzas are soft and pillowy with charred edges and topped with beautiful honest ingredients.  Our pizzas will be proven overnight to develop flavour before cooking in our wood fired oven at 400+ degrees. Our evening drinks list is made up of wines from our favourite local vineyards, craft beer from some of Australia’s best breweries and a rotating cocktail list..

How long have you been in business?
This is our first venue.

Why did you choose this line of business?
We could see the potential to deliver a quality food and beverage establishment

Is this your only store or do you have others?
This is our only store.

How many staff members are expected to work at your business?
We'll be employing a whole new team! We've got some exciting plans for our team building!

What were the main reasons you decided to trade at The Village Warralily?
We genuinely love the opportunity that exists to form a central part of a new community.
We currently live in Highton and hope that that we can help bring some of the Highton village feel to Warralily.
It’s great to see that other hospitality businesses in the Village are independent local people & not large companies.

What are you looking forward to most when you open your doors at The Village?
Seeing the reaction from the community.
