At Kat B’s Jungle Body classes, the lights go down, the music turns up and the half court at Armstrong Creek School is transformed into a dance floor with disco lights! Under the cover of the flashing lights and high energy moves “it really feels like I can dance out the stress of the day like no-one’s watching” said a regular participant.

The girl behind the moves.

Katrina has lived in Warralily for 3 years with her beautiful family, Tia 14, Alannah 7 and Lucas 3, and husband Steve, she is an inspiring, community minded lady who runs the Warralily Family Day Care by day and turns Jungle Body Master Teacher by night.

Kat is a positive supporter of our community, you may have seen her at the Warralily Markets, clean up days or at the Armstrong Creek Community Meetings. When we asked her about living in Warralily she said, “I simply love that it (Warralily) has such a great supportive community who is always ready to help. I love that we are building a strong foundation and movement for generations to come. It’s not too far away from town (Geelong) but far away enough to have some peace and quiet. We are also super close to the beautiful iconic beaches Australia has to offer. “

Two and a half years ago Kat realised she wanted to make a change to her lifestyle and start taking time for herself. These classes have become her passion and give herself and her participants an outlet. Fast Forward to today and she said she is the fittest, the strongest, the healthiest and the happiest she’s ever been.

“I want to help other people feel good. I want to show them that anything is possible, that nothing is too far out of reach,” said Katrina.

It seems her teaching methods are working, one participant said: “Her vibrant, energetic personality rubs off onto each and every person in the class” another claims: “Kat is a huge motivator for me with her very enthusiastic personality.”

Her classes have created a real feeling of community, like-minded people get together, motivate and support one another to adopt healthy & fit habits and just have fun.
The classes take place at The Armstrong Creek School, a local venue and walking or riding distance for most in Warralily. All ages are welcome from teens to older adults as long as you come prepared to shake it, drop it and move it.

The best part about it is anyone can do it!

Katrina always offers a break down and also alternatives for the more-trickier moves, keeps the same tracks for 3-4 weeks so that her class members get a chance to learn the moves and explains everything thoroughly before each routine.
